How does a diptych composition change our way of seeing a person and their existence in space? Are we looking at the same room from different viewpoints, or are these two different worlds connected only by a window? What does the identical positioning of the person and the chair in both parts express? How would we perceive the same image differently if we shifted our own position — is what we see determined by where we are and what we choose to look at?
